About K. Kam Zand, M.D.
Dr. Zand is a highly educated, trained and devoted physician with over 30 years of teaching and surgical experience. Dr. Zand possesses a background in Internal Medicine, with a Fellowship in Hematology at Harvard (M.G.H) and OBGYN training at Washington University in St Louis, Barnes Hospital. Dr Zand has also spent time as a Chief Resident at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, N.Y.
For over thirty-five years during his medical practice, Dr. Zand experienced firsthand as his patients gradually experienced weight gain, unwanted wrinkles, and a change in the contour of their bodies. These experiences motivated Dr. Zand to become a Cosmetic and Aesthetic Physician. To dedicate himself to this new goal, Dr. Zand obtained additional training in Advanced Laser Lipolysis / Smart Lip, Fat Transfer, Anti-Aging and Stem Cell Research.
Presently, Dr. Zand is an active member at both O’Conner Hospital in San Jose and El Camino Hospital in Los Gatos. Dr. Zand also serves as the Medical Director at the Los Gatos Smart Lipo Center in Los Gatos.
